i stuck with the poor fitting headers. had the exhaust shop heat and bend,dimple,releive where they had to. the car sounds great but disapointed with the power. i only have maybe 200 miles on it and when it gets a few more i will start fooling around with the carb and timing.

My motor is a pretty stock rebuild. 360 with j heads and a Hughes whiplash cam. Performer intake with a 650 carb. I think pretty close to the engine in the article with a bit more cam.

Bought the walker turbo mufflers from summit for $ 19.95 and they are quiter and sound better than the flowmasters with little to no drone.
