    What hose's have you guys used with a cross flow radiator in an A body. I got a alum. radiator and what to put it in. I was thinking later B body with an a engine hose's. Then just cutting to fit. what you guys think?

    What thermostats are you guys running?

    If you are running it in cooler weather. You should have a 192 stat in there. I'm running a 160 stat in my Duster, but I only run it in warm weather. It keeps it cooler, to try to make some more HP. Works good at the strip.

    I got the factory bottle on my 73. One like that should fit into yours. Then it would look factory.

    What's too hot?

    I had problems with mine when I had an electric fan on mine. It was a 14 in.fan. I got , I think a truck rad. in mine. About 2 to 2 1/2 thick. I went back to the stock clutch fan and its OK. I run a 160 degree stat. Gets up to about 160-170. Just my input. Good luck, Brian.

    Check all the good part stores. NAPA,Car Quest and the others. You might be suprised. Found a blower switch at the local NAPA. Just stay away from the cheap part stores.

    I got a 160 degree stat in the Duster. With a stock 7 blade clutch fan. It never gets hot. Go's about half way up the stock guage in traffic. When I went to the Car Crap Nats this past july everbody was over heating on the way in. In the slow traffic. Never had a bit of trouble.

    Capping a heater outlet in manifold

    Just go to the hardware store and get a couple metal pipe plugs. Put them in with teflon tape or liquid from a tube. Just don't tighten to tight to crack manifold.

    Best place for a radiator

    Check with your local shops. They can order one out from there suppliers. I worked at a Independant shop and my cost was real cheap. Try them first, before you order one from a catalog or speed shop. You might be suprised. They can get one by application.
