Yes just mini tubbed to the frame rails with the factory tubs widened 3”. There’s about 3/4” clearance or so to the frame rail. The real problem comes in when you lower it. You need an after market wheel tub that’s just a touch longer to fit the tall tires.

18" torque thrust m wheels on 1968 cuda

Rears need a larger wheel or a higher profile tire IMO. Front looks fine but the rear just doesn't quite look right to me for some reason. It just looks like it needs filled in back there. Could be the ride height or something. But other than that small detail, that's one sharp car! Thanks for...

I'm running those tires but on 10" wheels. I know I probably could go 11" wheels on it. 12" I'm not sure. It will probably would work but it's going to be tight as long as the spacing is dead nutz on.

anyone tried mickey Thompson sr tires ?

Tread is pointing forward. Looks right to me. I've never seen a tread that would be facing the opposite direction than what he has.

You're in the same boat as the OP. You need a mini tub, relocated springs, and narrowed rear.

    69 Dart Wheel offset

So you moved the springs inboard 3" correct? Is this car mini tubbed or does it have factory tubs? If factory tubs, 275's are about as far as it goes I believe. With mini tubs, around315/335's. I assume you want to know the offset for the wheels with a factory width rear?

    Biggest rear wheels and tires

You're probably not going to be able to get anything much bigger than 325's out back. That's what I have and it's tight. That's with 15X10 wheels. I have my Billet Specialties wheels (15X10 and 15X4) for sale in the tires and wheels section if you're interested. You can make them work with...

Post your 325/50/15 wheel and tire combos

Here's my 325/50/15 with 5.5" backspace. The 4 link allows the car to roll really bad in turns. When it rolls , the inside of the tires rub and make a real nice SCREEEEEEEECCCHHH sound. I'm having to install an anti-roll bar to keep it from doing that. But vertically, the tires will go...

best tire size for mini tub?

+1 on that. With the 4 link, I have to unbolt the coil overs and drop the rear as far down as it will go and that BARELY gets it down far enough to get the tires in. Then, partially get the tires in crooked, jack up the rear a little, re-adjust the tires, jack up rear, then I can get the tires...

best tire size for mini tub?

Yes that is what I would recommend. You don't HAVE to shorten the rear end but it may limit your wheel choice. You'll need a lot of backspacing to keep the factory rear the way it is. My recommendation is to choose the wheels you want and make the rear work for that, whether it requires...

best tire size for mini tub?

325/50/15 is probably the largest I have seen but there MIGHT be room for a little more, but it would be getting real tight. I have 325/50/15's and am having rubbing issues when cornering since the tires aren't 100% on center in the wheel well. They could stand to go out another quarter to...

Follow the instructions by members here or go to bbdart.com and follow that tutorial. That's what I did before I started. It was a lot more work than I thought it would be but I'm glad it's done. Everything is pretty straight forward.
