The ones I found took up even more room! Plus very expensive and no by-pass provision. I just ordered a mech fan that I hope will solve problem.

My 360 based 416 stroker in my 67 Barracuda. I have a very expensive rad/shrd/el fan combo that I really want to use. But I lack 1/2 inch to clear wp pulley. And thats with NO mechanical fan. Just the pulley. I can put a slim mech fan but cant use shroud with it. Only have 2 1/2 inch from front...

I'm not concerned abt lack of htr conn. I'm not sure of the lack of by-pass outlet. How important is the by-pass?? Anyone care to comment? I'm still looking at all options to solve my lack of space problem.

I was pretty sure that was correct. As far as fan, I'm installing Griffin rad and shroud and electric spal fan. I'm probably going to have to get the slimline waterpump offered for LA's. Then finding proper pulley is going to be fun! WTH, I have nothing better to do! LOL

I have the motor mounts to the rear of the mounting pads on my 360LA block. I lack 1/2 inch to be able to get my radiator, shroud, and fan installed. That looks abt the thickness of mounting pads. At rear of motor, I can get my hand in and touch transmission body.

I just got a new catalog in mail. This was on first page.

I don't know anything abt that. I'm not dissatisfied or anything like that. Just stating what I know. I do know that he was getting married at the same time as I was buying motor.

It's always the little details that end up taking so much time. I lost the kickdown linkage long time ago. So I'm putting an all cable setup. Installed new Alternator, took forever, I had to make a spacer to go next to head. I'm getting closer to having this 416 in!!

I never expected sparkplug wires to be such a pain in you know what to assemble. Instructions say to use a DROP of their slick stuff to assemble. Well I had to slather it on wire and put lots inside boots. MSD 8.5mm wire. I think it looks good though. Half done. I hated to throw wire away...
