Pull the rotor off and you can see there is one screw holding reluctor. looking at mine, I see there is a screw in plate from bottom. I would bet that is what is wrong, the screw is loose or missing. good luck.

You definitely have a problem there. Too much up and down, too much wigglying. I looked at my Mopar perf dist and there is a big difference in amount of movement.

Just a thought here...is your torque wrench working properly? As in calibration? If you have beam type wrench, probably no problem. However if you have a click-stop torque wrench, it could be off as the spring in those types of wrenches loose there strength and torque readings will be off...

I had been having small troubles with the motor shutting off at idle at the most in-opertune times. Sometimes just manuvering to park was all it took. If it was hot outside, forget it, it wouldn't start. Crank and crank and then flood the motor or wear down the batterey! If it was cold out...

FYI: Hall Effect is a type of transistor that is switched on with a magnetic signal. These were used in some of the early solid state ignitions! Hope you get your problem figured out! Cudamike13
