Same here. 72 I think are different. I have one off a parts car but the recess where the headlight would sit as well as the chrome moulding are not set far enough back. The factory 71 style on the other side of my car is set back about 1 1/2 inches further. I think the 72 grill didnt angle back...

Welcome, You could even install a 70-76 Dart Swinger/Sport or Demon entire front clip if you wanted to. I have seen 70-71 Dart/Demon front ends on scamps. This will make it appear that its a 70 Swinger. The only outward thing that gives it away are the Scamp only tail light lenses.
