My buddy had the same problem.........he removed the tranny pan and a hole was plugged up with crap in some part of the tranny body where the tranny fluid would flow thru. He drilled thru the crap in the hole and out came clean tranny fluid.........this was why he didn't have reverse...

Hey Snake,......I wonder if the wiring from an originally steering column shift car converted into a floor console shift car (using the same wiring as column shift) would have something to do with it?????

I'm pretty sure all 8 3/4" axle shock plates are all interchangeable with A, B, and E bodies.

Another good tip (if not using a slide hammer)............. if axle shafts are hard to pull out of housing, try a reversed brake drum mounted onto wheel studs to act as a slide hammer. Read this in Mopar magazine, hope this helps
