The stud is in the correct place, because they line up with my door. I think the cables just need to wrap around the stud to make it into the large hole in the door. If anyone has a loose mirror, I'd like to see how their cables are routed. Anyway, I found a manual adjust mirror in my stash...

Okay, I don't think this was off a 66 Dart now. It was years ago that I grabbed this.

I have the hole on the inside of the door, so that car had a remote mirror stock. The previous owner installed some aftermarket mirrors and I want to go back to stock.

I have a couple remote style driver's side mirrors off a 66 Dart. I thought I could use one on my 67 Barracuda, but the base won't fit. Is the 66 a one year thing? Or is the Barracuda different? I'd like to find a remote style mirror for my car, but need to make sure it will fit. Thanks.
