    Are you sure the cubes are 396? Maybe 392? I run a similar set up in a race boat. W2s an 14 to 1 compression. on the dyno it was 651 horses at 7000. Think you can run pump gas at your compression if you get the squish right.

    Yes i have to run spacers on mine. i do not recomend double gaskets with out the shim because it wont be long till there leaking or tightened down till they hit.

    Has any body ran a 416 an a 392? Is there a noticable differance? How about a 408? I am running a 392 an am allowed up to 412 in my class. Looking at possibly a 408 just wondering how much I would gain?
