Tti headers with cheap Jones muffler.

I have some love them. I don’t really care too much for the look at me stuff. So I keep them closed in parking lots or in my neighborhood. But I love the sound of my engine with them open.

You need more power.

I fought cheap headers for 10 years with constant leaks and dents for clearance. Went to TTI and haven’t touched them since I installed them.

Do you know which ones they are?

Possibly 3” but yes 2.5” as well.

I was always told that with the TTI headers you do not need the oil filter adapter. I can not speak to the cut outs on an x pipe though.

Hydraulic roller. Duration is 235/249 at .050” lift. Lift is .522/.509 with a 107 Lsa.

Is it a good idea to use Teflon tape on that? I’ve always been worried about that so I never did it.

Apparently I didn’t understand what a slip joint was. I thought welding was required or else you would have a major leak. My mistake.

I got a set of TTI headers for my small block swinger. It will be going on the dyno shortly and wanted to use the TTI's during the test. Would it be wise to use a different set or will I be able to install the headers with the slip tube welded up?

Thanks for all the input. I can not find a single 1 3/4 header for an abody. Everything is either 1 5/8” stepped to 1 3/4” or 1 7/8”. Am I missing something
