I can't seem to find reasonably priced trunk and cowl weatherstrips, come on 45 bucks for the hood piece is frickin highway robbery!!!! Help to find decently priced would be appreciated.
I have seen where the shims that are used to align front ends were inserted under the pin head and tack welded in place. Crude but cheap and effective.
Im also waiting for a post on someone who has used a similar product with good results. I want to do my 70 Dart grill with it. The killer requires a high gloss base to spray on. I need a one step product.
I had the same thought for installation of the factory scoops on my 70 Dart. I was thinking that I would glue the scoops to bare metal and paint everything to cover it up.
Anyone use this or a similar product. I'm thinking of doing the grill in my 70 Dart with it.

I'm ready to start stripping the plastic grille on my Dart. I tried some chemical stripper on a small spot on the back and it started dissolving the plastic almost immediately. Proven ideas and suggestions welcome. Thanks.
I'm having the same problem as you, whoever painted my Dart didn't do the door jambs which I want to do now and I am having a hell of a time matching the color....
I originally thought they were installed on Swingers and Custom Darts only but have seen base models with them As far as a base model with the trim standard don't know.
