H Fabo! I'm working on my 65 'Cuda disc brake swap from the '74 Dart parts car this weekend.....I noticed some curve in the lower control arm strut rod & thought about the '74 Dart. Those rods are straight but a tad [~.25"] longer between the bushing stops. Is this difference is acceptable...

    Another steering coupler question(Help)

Thank You Canadian Cuda. If there is an alignment "notch" on coupler that matches to notch on gearbox shaft, that would prevent 67 coupler from mating on "notchless" shaft, I suppose..? But on the gear box splined shaft, is the "notched" area just missing a spline that would allow an...

    Another steering coupler question(Help)

On my 65 Barracuda, manual steer, My gear box shaft appears to be 3/4"spline AND the steering shaft to be 3/4 smooth. The factory coupler has to go for the magnum manifold to fit. Now, I can't tell if it is36 spline on gear box shaft or not but is that what it's supposed to be? Will a...

    Sway Bar Questions

I'm slower than Congress, but learning...found this info..hope this can help someone.. Interchangeability between lower control arms on the Mopar cars It's where the sway bar mount tab is welded onto the LCA that would make a LCA year specific to that automobile. 1965 to 1972 LCA's have the...

    Sway Bar Questions

Is the lower control arm off of a '74 Dart the same as a '65 Barracuda? My donor car (Dart) doesn't have the control arms with sway bar and was thinking about prepping them with tabs in advance for disc brake swap to fish. Also was concerned about exact placement of "tabs"...
