depending on the amount of rust might be a good idea to have it sand blasted then the rusted areas treated with the acid. if your planning on replacing the qtrs. cut them off and get the inner structure real clean. same goes for the inside of the frame rails cut out the bad and blast then seal...

if it was mine i'd concentrate on getting the floors and trunk areas fixed along with the engine compartment done rebuild the drive line install it get it running right then do the rest of the body then interior

for areas like that I would use a right angle air grinder with a 36 grit pad, also take your time and let the sanding pad do the work you wont need to push hard on it

I wouldn't see why not. I've never seen one in person but that doesn't mean they don't exist

was the reducer too hot? im not a painting expert but I had a similar issue when I painted I still had some of the cleaning thinner in my gun and it did the same thing

I just eyed the stripe but after I removed the tape I relized that it was too small and didn't really look right I was going to make them about 5/8 or 3/4 wide I think that would fit along side the blackout

i done media blasting for a short time and i can tell you this. the media will remove the undercoating but it takes awhile and causes the panels to get hot, cause the undercoating doesnt come right off.and it could warp your panels staying in one spot trying to get it off. when we blasted we...

i think it was only offered in 71 on 340 dusters. i have a 70 that i plan on doing this too aswell. im still on the fence with the sticker though im not sure if i want a 318 wedge sticker on it

then you need 70-72 front end parts

kinda lost on this one what yr front end are you putting on what yr car im assuming you have a 72? and your wanting a 69 front end? everything should swap out just fine but you are also going to need the part that holds the hood down in the front

semi gloss black or organisol whatever they used as hood performance treatment i'd think

F6 is another option but i love the F3 and a white stripe really looks great on that 69

i'd go green its seems everybody changes in favor of a high impact color and it shows at the car shows the ones that really stand out are the original hues in a sea of purples and lime green

thats cheap, oh and i tried to install my front window 45minutes later i couldnt get the 2 pieces to look like one the rear one i was able to get in i ordered a new windshield and still had my new gasket windshield and installation was 235.00 for me and he was done in 5 minutes
