I agree, the communication from the promoter (Josh) is very poor. Having all the details hammered out ahead of time, so that there is no ambiguity...that is whats needed. This is the main reason I didn't attend this year. One of the #1 questions asked that needed to be addressed ahead of time...

Just FYI, Lucas Oil Raceway (formerly ORP, and formerly IRP) has been owned by the NHRA for a long as I can remember (a looooong time). It is one of the few NHRA owned tracks. I will not travel to another one of Josh's events without EVERYTHING spelled out, plain as day (race rules, payouts...

Lyon's is a great track, but there is no way it can hold the 400+ race cars, piles of show cars, venders, swap meet, etc.....no way, no how. The No Box Nationals last year at Lyon's had a little over 200 cars, and the pits were PACKED.....just sayn.

Yeah, I'm going to keep an eye on the radar, but if it stays like it is now I'll be leaving my car at home. No sense in paying $150 for 2 races if they will likely get rained out....bummer. I'll still be there to look at the show cars at stuff on Saturday, rain or shine.
