    High compression timing issue.

https://youtu.be/BkfjhAiGOIc This rocker arm is very loose. Is this normal? Appears to be exactly where I was hearing the noise from. I haven't rotated engine yet to see if the 'slop' may be due to the position of the cam, or loose lifters, etc... I still have some research to do about what...

So I pulled the transmisio . Realizing that the previous owner didnt take care of the vehicle.. 2 of the 5 bellhousing bolts were missing. 2 were slightly loose already. And only 1 tight.. As far as the flexplate goes, 3 of the 4 bolts that hold flexplate to the torque converter were...

It's not an Abody. Buf I have my '69 d100 pick up. She has a 360 stroker (408 CI). It was a crate motor from bluprint.. Compression is 10.1:1. It was a pretty recent purchase that I made, so I dont know a ton about the truck. Recently I started hearing a knock from the drivers side of the motor...

    New oil pump question

My new oil pump that I installed on my 318 yesterday came with a little thin 'paper' gasket. I just happened to come across something on the web saying that no gasket is needed.. should I keep the gasket on there that I installed? finishing the assembly of my 318 today. As of now, it wouldn't be...

I've got the oil drip plate Instead of the bolt with the hole. some came with the drip plate instead. is it mainly big blocks that have the clearance issues.?

    Oil slinger with double roller?

I have a 318 that I'm doing a rebuild on. finishing up putting her together over the next few days. I'll be putting a double roller timing chain in. Should I install the oil slinger for the crankshaft? or am I going to run into clearance issues? Thanks in advance..

    Overheating Issues!

I haven't been on my FABO in a while. Just been driving other cars than my satellite. Still having those Issues though. It does drive fine at 45mph as long as i'm not driving it hard off of the line and stuff, doesn't over heat at all. When it does "overheat" though is when I get on the freeway...

    Overheating Issues!

i'm not sure it its the OEM radiator though. I believe what the previous owner did was use the Rad from the RV that they pulled the motor from. So any idea how would I find a shroud that fits?

    Overheating Issues!

So I'm having problems with my satellite running hotter than it should be lately. It does it both in hot weather and cold weather, so it isn't just because of the california heat here lately. I replaced the thermostat, thermo housing, both radiator hoses, and bypass hose. I CANT figure out why...

    holley 4010 kickdown?

oh sorry. didn't understand what you were saying. the pedal assembly is held on by 2 bolts that go into the floor. And even If I would have removed the pedal assembly, the entire throttle cable would not have fit through the "grommet" on the firewall and this is all on my '73 satellite. I know...

    holley 4010 kickdown?

well I bought the lokar cable to replace the stock one. and the stock one had some sort of plastic piece that was 2 pieces that held it into the firewall. I already got the whole thing out and the new one in. I was just saying that so far, that was the only pain in the ***..
