I find myself in need of a windshield for my 63, 2-door post. Does anyone know if they are available new and if not what other early A-bodies and body types (I have one for a convertible) will fit? Thanks in advance

Those do look awesome, you did a great job. I never saw a set painted on a car. They must have used water paint from the factory.

X2 I have a set that someone painted like the ones on eBay and like those on eBay they weren't done using a stencil and look like a child did them.

15 x 7 on the front and 15 x 8 on the back. If I had another 1/8 backspacing on the back they would be perfect, but as they are now the just touch the inner wheel well at full compression. The springs are in the factory location.

There are a few guys over at ss.org that have done it. Their search engine kind of sucks though, you're better off using Google. Here's one to get you started. If it's a stock or mild 273 you won't have any more problems than the Mustang guys. If you crank it up you'll have the same issues...

Thanks. Using the factory button was pretty easy. Take the round black part of the factory horn button and screw that to the fiber piece that comes with the Grant wheel adapter. Then use the spring from the horn kit under the factory emblem.

You've got good taste. That's the wheel I went with, much for the same reasons. I thought the horn button looked like crap too, so I reused the factory one.

Maybe. I need a radiator that'll work, but I'm not above making some modifications. I would much rather buy an aluminum one and make it work than pay a ton for a rare factory piece. Do you have something in mind?

I got the dimensions from Craig Durham, but it seems way too big. Has anyone run one with a V8? If so, which one did you get and how does it fit?

Got any pictures? I've seen it, that is badass! Sounds like the interference is small so it may not be a big deal at all. If I anyone with a 63 to 66 with a V8 could measure from the distributor to each fenderwell and let me know which part of the distributor you measured to I can figure...

I'm hoping someone posts up with just that. Moparkid's 63 had a V8 so his firewall should tell us what we need to know. BTW, I did but a distributor with that smaller cap and the male ends. I'll post up when I figure out what the deal is.

I'm digging that offset distributor, just not the $500 price tag. This car will only have this engine in it for a year or two so I hate to get too deep into the money. Moparkid, did you ever get a picture of your firewall? I'm very curious to see how yours was done.

My car is (was) a 13K mile survivor when I bought it. Took me the better part of 20 years to find this car. Came with a 170 and a three on the tree. The guy I bought it from was having no luck selling it. He had the car on eBay a few times with a BIN of $9K and the auction never broke $6K or...

That's likely what I'll have to do. I'm hoping that a little dimple will provide enough clearance so I won't have to rework the whole firewall. The goal is to make it look stock or something the factory would have done to make it work. Maybe an offset distributor? I guess it'll have to wait...

Probably should have went with a B motor, but this is just a temporary fix until the real motor is ready. Good thing I have too much time on my hands.

Thank you. Do you have a small block in it? I hate to open that can of worms, but since I have to paint the area around the battery and master cylinder it won't be the end of the world. But finding the wiper parts for a 64 to 66 may be challenging.

So this is what I have to deal with. There are enough differences in the firewall that I can't tell where the distributor will end up looking at yours and mine. Could you measure how far from the firewall the cap is and how far from each fenderwell? Hopefully I can mod this one and I don't...

Anyone drop a small block in a 63 Valiant or Dart and have an issue with the distributor hitting the firewall? I read somewhere the 63's firewalls were different near the wiper and this was revised for 64 so they could fit the 273 in them. Any pictures of either a 63 with a small block in it...

Yeah, it was them. I have no idea of it was a stunt or we were supposed to feel bad for them because they have to pay for insurance or taxes.

Isn't this the place that was going to crush all their cars if we didn't buy all of them right away?
