Holy cow, 1/2" bolts for an intake manifold!!! Are you talking about the size of the socket for the head of the diameter of the shank??? Just in case, if you are trying to get the torque value for the head size, you will break it off my friend. L8r Jim

My project is a 71 Dart that was originally a 318. I am swapping in a 340. Can I use the 318 mounts for the 340 or are they different? Neither engine was in the car when I bought it, so I am assuming at this point that the mounts I have are for the 318. These are also the biscuit type lower...

When I broke in my new motor last summer, my builder told me that either a break-in oil (I used Brad Penn) or a regular oil with the additive. One or the other is critical if using a flat tappet cam.

Other than an EZ out, any ideas how a broken flex plate bolt can be removed from a crankshaft hub without engine disassembly? The bolt broke off right at the base of the bolt head............don't ask. Thanks.
