X2 get a bottle put it in and drive it for a week or two I have run it for a summer then take the top rad hose off (after you take the thermostat Out) stick a water hose in it and back flush tell clean.your entire cooling system will be as good as new..this was told to me by a rad shop back in...

well the first thing I would do is get rid of the electric fan and go with a regular fan be it 6or7 blade with a fan shroud.your elect. fan is only cooling the spot that its in. this being the resin for it getting to 210 and then I would go with a 180 or 185 stat I think that would regulate you...

use dish washing detergent ( cascade) just put it in run car a few days then back flush it with thermas stat out.I have run them as long as two months the rad. will look like new and wont hert a thing.......Artie

have you checked the rad with motor running and the cap off to see if your getting bubbles in the rad.or run the rpms up to around 2000 or 3000 with cap off and let off it and see if water comes puqueing out.if so could be a blown head gasket.???? thats happend to me the same way....Artie

cascade dish washer is the best use a bottle of liquid put it in run it for a week then take thermostat out back flush and it will be good as new I guarantee it.and it will not hert any thing..

I thinking darts and duster are the same would be my gess..

have you psi.tested the cap.i hate problems like this there's so many things it could be and it is usually the simple ones that fixes it.

to do a good flush 1 drain water 2ad a box or bottle of cascade YES cascade dish washing powder or liquid i like using the liquid better.fill rad. back up and make sure its full after motor warms up.and drive it for a day or two.3 drain take thermostat out. with it out and cap off rad.put water...

also if you think hose is sucking shut if you rev motor you should see it sucking. if so put a hose clamp over area litely titen and trit if so it is the hose. i would try that first.if hose is old and flemsy very posable.

if it only gets hot at higher rpms the water is cerculating to fast wich would tell me term,stat is bad i know ive had bad new ones.and i agree 200 is to hot. stant or napa 165 or 180 for me
