I don't think you can have to Meany grounds..I go to the junk yard and get all kinds of neet ground wires.and use 3or4 from motor to the frame.I also run a wire from the ing.box to the frame......just saying..........Artie

check the fusible link the big red wire coming off the battery going to the fire wall plug if you wiggle it it will probably come back to life.....Artie

X2 take it off clean it put sum silacon (spelling)on it then put sum 3/8ths nuts under it to hold it up a little make a seprite ground wire to go on one of the bolts for xtra ground.and I allways run an extra box bolted next to it just in case.just trying to help....Artie

if your running a split wt. oil like 20/40 try a strate wt like 30 or 40 with STP OR lucus what kind of oil psi. does it carry? if motor was neglted befor you got it run hard and no oil changes will do it maybe time for a new pump.

I think its going bad or you have bad wire going to it I have had the main wire get caroded in side and dint know it till I cut it apart...

all the memory back up radios I have had the yellow wire was the memory.and the red was hooked to the org.radio connection.what does the directions say. or take it to a best buy or HH Gregg.and those boy will usually hook it up for a little bit of nothing ...Artie

X2 I run that box on two of my cars daily

I always ground the box bare metal under the box (at the holes) and most of the time I make a small ground wire up and put on one of the screws to the body..that the reason some boxes go bad..I don't think you can have to many grounds.. Artie

All things stop working sooner or later and I would rather change that box along the road than a dist,and that box is small enough to bolt next to the other I always have a spare..and a GM dist.in a mopar ARE YOU ON DRUGS!!!:angry7::angry7::angry7: O and no one has ever proven that a GM ignition...

I think the first thing I Would do is check all the grounds if you only have one ad two more at lest.. of all the years I have had mopars I have never had a pickup in the dist, go bad unless I was welding close to it with a bad ground hook up.I have had the control boxes go bad(orange box)but...

i run the mopar chrome one and have never had a problem with it on the street.
