unless you know what your doing you should leve them alone.and uless your bilding an all out race motor porting is going to slow it down,a stock hemi head used to out flow any after marct head.but I haven't pladed with them sence the 60s.im sure some of the old hemi boys will chim in and correct...

yep #5 sooner or later you will have a nice hole at the starter then you can reach in and pull the broken parts out.I drove a cab one summer(1975) back and forth to the airport and had one cut lose about 2 in the morning.put a soda can opened up in front of the hole and drove it back home...

If it was mine I would take the cat off clean it out (so you can see threw it) unhook the lean bern and have a happy motor.It will run better and more than likely get better gas mileage....but that's me........Artie

x2...and if it was mine I would use a thicker oil like straight 30wt.

the cap that I took apart had like a nylon fiber in it.so you could clean it with any thing.I soaked mine in the parts cleaner renced it with water and then used a can of carburetor cleaner to finish then blue the hell out of them with air.........Artie
