Its never easy with a MUCH faster car. I just dial tight and run it out if I have room. But I have only won a few races and friends that race for a living think I'm nuts. Stuff happens just try not to repeat the same mistakes is my moto.

No, go ladder bars or 4 link if you want a real suspension. Of course you can run those numbers on stock leaf springs but why spend the effort unless your racing a class that doesn't allow it.

Numbers sound about right for the engine combo. The exaggerated low rpm torque is due to the torque converter,very common on a chassis dyno. If the car is really as light as you suggest there are gains to be found somewhere.

I never use the factory SB tray(but tried them), a larger pan is a nice gain on the track if ET's are what your shooting for,the larger the better but I doubt you could get a large enough unit in a stock K frame.
