    Original engine colors??????

My 69 340 4 speed swinger with original drive train that I bought back in 1986 was turquoise. My 68 340 GTS has a 68 340 in it, but not original, when I went through the motor it was definitely painted red originally.

68's have no VIN # on the body, sequence number only is stamped in those locations.

Just blew 500 bucks on Megasquirt

Nice, I have been doing some reading on the mega squirt stuff, seems the way to go to me. Sloppy mechanics on youtube does a really good job explaining some the different boxes you can buy.

LMFAO Anybody figure out what this is?

Nice work, picked up a 4 speed OD and bellhousing no one wants, may have to keep the bell around for firing up motors on a test stand

Not sure about 67's but 68's have the sequence number on rad support and drip rail in trunk, not the vin.

How long have you owned your A-Body??

I Bought my GTS in 2001, freshened the motor and drove it for 5 or 6 years, then painted it back to original color. I sold it in 2010 and bought it back from the guy I sold it to about 6 months ago. First pic is right after I bought it, I did drive it for few months before freshening the...

    who is into "later" cars

I just sold my Aspen to buy my GTS back. It actually drove pretty decent. Not a real RT, had a 340 with 8 3/4 rear in it. I never got around to it, but 74 duster bumpers look pretty decent and shed some weight.

    Roadrunner or Not

No VIN # on the body any where on 68 mopars, only sequence number that will match the VIN tag. With no VIN tag the #'s do not mean much.

    Has anyone seen this car?

I tend to agree with RRR, who knows, may have been a previous owner that wanted the stripe put on that way? It still looks out if place IMO, but a clean looking car.
