You can use the original bases. I just think the original design is a little weak and subject to problems.

I outfitted my dash with LEDs from SuperBrightLeds but it's going to be several months before I can try them out. The lights seem great. I think your only problem might be the cheesy wedge bases we have to deal with.

I just finished putting my dashboard back together and found these on the rug during clean up. Can anyone tell we where they belong? I'm really looking for a excuse to take that blasted dashboard all apart again. :banghead:

412 Stroker is correct. RockAuto is a great place to find stuff cheap. Easy to find everything they have available if you enter your make and model number.

You might try contacting Senior member RedFish. I think he either has some or knows where you can get them. He does a great job reconditioning dash gauges.

Anyone have a driver's side black seat hinge cover for a 70 A-body bench seat? Used is OK as long as it's serviceable. Trying to avoid dropping a half a C-Note on new repros.
