1970 Swinger Build Thread (PURISTS BEWARE)

Your wagoneer was really cool. After I sold my '78 I kept looking at yours on jeeptruck. I love the waggys but after dealing with my own rust bucket I'm not sure I'll ever get another.

69 Dart Convertible SAVED FROM THE Grave

cool to see a 69 saved, especially a convert. 6 speed is a lot of work, but nothing compared to what you are doing. I put almost 10,000 miles on my duster real quick after swapping the 6 speed in. its nice to drive. just haven't been doing much with it lately.

    AlV 69 Dodge GTS project

Sure. I painted all these parts 3-4 years ago. I think I shot them with epoxy primer first then the Eastwood chassis paint. K frame, control arms, spindles, engine brackets and pulleys. On my jeep I've used "Chassis Saver" paint which is supposed to be the same thing as por15, the guy that sells...

    73 duster restro mod

cool ride. looks pretty solid. I would have concentrated on the mechanical stuff, compounded and waxed the body and called it good for a few years. oh yeah, id skip those funky space aged door handles too.

    70 duster: updating, and a no-dough pro-touring makeover

that sucks. im going to do some kind of ac on my duster, i jsut need to decide which route. i think its the idler setup, that didnt look like it was going to work out to me, but it was worth a shot. i try not to add anything negative to some ones build thread or attempt. it looks crooked in...

HW's 1963 Dart GT race car build.

i like the radiaused wheels wells with a little flare like that. looks good with the right wheel combo. i would definitel yuse a fiberglass reinforced filler, get it as close as possible with a grinder and a real rough sanding disc, then finish it off with regular body filler.
