I have one of their older systems from 2007. Mine had a bracket for the box to the dash, must be something they changed. All of my controls are done with the original cables. Need to do some diagnostics on my system, the compressor wont' kick in for some reason.

That was it, must have been full of oil, solvent cleaned it out. Back together, charged, working like it should. Will have to see how it performs in the long run.

There was a lot of oil in the system. I blu some air through the dash radiator and that was the blockage. Ran some solvent through it, now seems to flow well. Got a boat load of oil out of it. We will see, I'm putting everything back together today.

Yep, compressor turns better this morning, Lent my gauges out but never got them back. Guess I will start with tearing out the condenser and go from there to find the blockage.

The car is cool, just started it. Compressor runs for about 20 seconds, cycles off then locks up.

Just as 6pack said, you will need to have your cooling system ut to snuff. The install is strait forward, and the kit is very complete.

Water coming out of the thermostat is engine temp, as it is coming from the engine.

If it's a sanden yes. I have one in my 68 Barracuda. Call classic air they will help you with your ?. Should work fine with your big block, just need the mounts.

I have the Classic in my Barracuda, fit was good and works good. Some on here have said to tint the windows to help, I insulated the floor and doors on mine, seemed to help. Need to get all of the air out before charging.

Used another clutch, freind had several to choose from.

Update, backed the fan out of the shroud another 1/2 inch. Also changed back to a 190 stat, sofar so good.

There are two different 7 blade fans. One is the size of the 5 blade, one is about 2 inches bigger. Seven blade will bolt to the clutch just fine. The 7 blade helped my car stay a little cooler, also set the fan 1/2 in and 1/2 out of the shoud.

I tried it up there but it just wouldn't go back far enough. Looking at you pics, it looks like your A/C unit hangs a little lower than mine.

That was my plan also but, with thw AC unit in there the deck wouldn't go back far enough(door wouldn't close). I ended up going with Secretaudio, under the pass. seat.

It wont, their system is set up to use all of the non air holes in the radiator suport, and non air fire wall. I think they can set you up with parts to make your factory unit work though.
