    14 wide is pretty much max for a 12 inch wheel. 16.5 is a big tire, might want to look into a 14 wide wheel.

    Had 15x12 on my old Dart, mini tub to the frame. Set your rear end then measure for your wheels, mine had 4 inch back space.

    I have 15x7 with 3 1/2 back 205 60 15 on the front. And 15x8 with 3 1/2 back with 235 60 15 on the rear. 68 Barracuda.

    Find a spring shop in your area, and have them add a leaf. They will be able to set it where you want it.

    225-60 would just touch the front of my fender well while turning. looks like you will have more backspace so it just might go.

    I have 15x7s in the front and15x8s in the back. Both have 3 3/8ths back space. 205-60s front and 235-60s in the back.

    8 inch wheels came on mid 70s Ramchargers, getting tough to find now though. You can find 7s all day long under M bodys. Dave
