Thanks. Could be violet, but looked gray to me in dim light.

I know this is a rare option, but I'm hoping someone out there has one installed and can tell me what goes where. I'm not the type to experiment, because I learned long ago that I cost myself too much money when I do that - lol.

Had the tach at my garage and didnt have a chance to get a look at it until yesterday. The wires are orange, green, gray, and black.

I bought an original console mounted tach for my 68 GTS. It has a newer 360 with electronic ignition. There are 4 wires on the tach. Can someone tell me which one goes where, and if it will work with the electronic ignition?

I used a Dremel with a tiny wire brush bit. Worked great.

My parking lights have amber bulbs in them, but I keep thinking that my original GTS back in 68 had white bulbs. Anyone know which ones are correct?

UPDATE Got the bulbs this morning. $1.65 each. Dont know if that was his cost or not, but that's what he charged me.

A friend of mine owns a garage. He went online on NAPA and found them so he ordered me a couple. He said they'll be here tomorrow morning. I didnt ask about the cost, but when I get them, I'll post it here.

Okay, I found out that the bulb is a #330. I tried NAPA, but no dice. They are listed as an aircraft bulb. Does anyone know anyone that handles them? I dont want to order them online because the shipping costs more than the bulbs do.

The #168 bulbs will not work for the fender top signal indicators. I looked at them in the parts store, and they are too big and do not have a metal base. The bulbs that go into the indicators are very thin, and appear to have a single contact metal base.

I tried Advance Auto. They cant even find them in any of their books. At least not by application. That's why I'm hoping to be able to get some type of number for them.

I have a 68 Dart with fendertop turn signal indicators. They do not have any bulbs in them. Can someone tell me what number/type of bulb is needed, and where I may be able to find them?

Previous owner of my 68 Dart installed a rocker switch for the electric fuel pump in the hole where the e-flasher switch goes. I found what I believe to be the e-switch, in a can of parts. I am hoping that he just disconnected the e-switch and left the wires up inside the dash. Which wires am...

If you bought it from a private party, you are probably out of luck, but if you bought it from a store, I believe implied warranty laws require them to replace it if it is defective out of the box. You may not get your money back, but you should get a replacement part.
