I believe the shaft is about 3 1/4-1/2", can't quite remember but it was pretty girthy. The aluminum was about a 1/16" thick. Tig welded up real clean and easy. I did not rebalance, and no shimmy at all.

I used a 2003 Ford Crown Vic driveshaft. It was Aluminum and uses a 1350 Joint. I had to shorten it, but had no issues.

If you are using the explorer flange (1330), I have an extra 7260 to 1330 joint and 1330 8.8 rear flange if you need any of that. Here is where I got the 7260 to 1350 joint...

I have a real nice Holley 3310-3. It is a manual choke, 750 cfm, vacuum secondaries, with the braided fuel line attached. I also have an Edelbrock 4 hole spacer. The carburetor has been rebuilt and ran perfect. PM me if interested.
