I have owned my 66 for 10 years next month i have toyed with the idea of a full restoration but for two reasons i have not yet done it #1 i do not have the money to do it in a timely manner #2 the amount of money that it would cost [me doing most everything] would out weigh the value of the car...

What it all boils down to is 2 things you never get you total investment back [some times you loose money] the other is it's worth what someone is willing to pay that's it. It may be a nice car but that's what your facing good luck to you on your sale sir.

Trailer tires or LT truck tires for car hauler

Purchase trailer tires they are made for trailers the sidewalls are constructed heavier than vehicle tires to withstand the weight and stress during turns, many have used car/truck tires with no issues [my self included] but there is always a chance for failure and an accident. I have been in...

Over $6000 to install TTI headers on 66 Barracuda

Personally i won't pay what TTI wants for their headers alone and i sure would not pay that amount for an install [i know their a PIA, quality product but expensive] i'm sticking with my stock manifolds, not really planning on a fire breathing 273 at my age.

foose is hacking up another mopar !

I personally think Foose is a very talented person but some of his builds border on ruining a car and the big wheels suck. I am one whom would not like him building my car his style don't suit my taste, i'm with the folks here thinking old school builds, some custom touches are cool but the best...

Why so many cars ending up like this

I have to agree about the mustang [not enough money left for the project] but I will agree that some folks bite off more than they can chew or when they realize that when all said and done this car will not be worth what he has invested so lets bail out and recoupe most of what we have in it...

I'm thinking that's about to change I saw something on the net about lifting the ban on importing autos into Cuba [I didn't read the whole article] and my first thoughts were god help those classics there, once they get newer cars those will [gulp] become scrap. Never mind I read it I'm...

Are prices way down on classic muscle right now?

My opinions are as such #1 the economy and the rising costs of everything for everyone. #2 the younger and some middle aged crowd would rather have a new muscle car #3 the flippers are out in force buying up anything and everything they can fix up make a buck on, leaving us with the more door...

Looking at a 73 truck anything special to look at

As stated rust should not be an issue but check around the entire rain gutter paying attention to the areas at either corner of the windshield above and below the gutter, those body style/years trucks are notorious for rusting at the rain gutters.
