I had the Classic Auto Air i my 70 and I ran the hose over the steering column mount (it has a little recess, behind the cluster) and then down to the left of the driver.

In my experience. 340 9.8 cr with aluminum heads and EFI, I run right at 180. I have a flowcooler high flow wp and Robert shaw 180 high flow thermostat, Champion 26" radiator. Anyway, I've found that a high flow stat does nothing without a high flow pump.

Call classic auto air. Tell them what you have and they will set you up. Very knowledgeable and friendly.

I wouldn't go down the timing route with the sniper, yet. The sniper will only allow you to change the advance at idle and at specific breakpoints. While a nice feature to have, you've already proven that timing isn't your issue (you advanced it yourself). Back to the fans. Those two fans...

Ok, I think attached to the passenger side also. The driver's side tho was for sure blocked off. I remember that from the directions.

Aren't the fresh air ducts blocked tho? I know on mine the drivers is. Can't remember on the passenger.

I was just going by what classic instructions stated. They said for a new system you want to be sure all the moisture is boiled out. When I have it done again, I'm going to o take note of the pressures, as I do believe it should be cooler coming out of th vents.

Yes, so is the box you got a perfect fit kit or a universal? I guess the question that needs answered is are the boxes the same, but the controls different? I wanted to update my controls, but I believe I was told I couldn't because of the box I got.

I installed a classic auto air kit and everything went together just as it should. There is a how to thread on installing one in a demon. It would give you an idea.

This feels very cut and dry. The temps go to 160 ( too cold in my opinion) while driving. In traffic, it climbs. Sounds like you need a better fan.

What AC system? I used Classic Auto Air and it retained the factory controls.
