[WANTED] WTB 5/16 FUEL SENDING UNIT STRAINER (SOCK)

That's an easy one. 5/16" senders with socks were also used by General Motors for many years; their part № 5651705. They were available long after you couldn't buy them from Mopar any more, and they fit the Mopar senders just fine. Now no longer available from a GM parts counter, but here y'go...

[Found!] 273 2 barrel air cleaner base

The lid is the same as used with a 1bbl baseplate on some '61-'69 Slant-6s, with or without the crankcase breather nipple, so at least there's that. But yeah, the 2bbl baseplate is the prize find, used only in Barracudas to provide an unsilenced air cleaner assembly. Non-Barracuda 273-2bbls...

[WANTED] Two barrel intake 66 slant six

See the parallel 2bbl setup article. Photo documentation of a very well done such conversion is here, and there's a nice pictorial on modifying a 1bbl intake here.

[WANTED] Looking For 225 Oil Filter Adapter Double Side Thread

Initial production had just the male/male thread adapter (№ 1739 619). In '61 a standpipe was added to the adapter (adapter/standpipe assembly № 2268 966). In June '62 a check valve was added (adapter/check valve/stand pipe assembly № 2402 607). For '73 the standpipe was shortened to...

[WANTED] Turn signal switch for '65 Barrcuda

The "N" in NOS stands for "new", but the "O" stands for "old". Better to get a non-garbage new-new stock item; see here.

    [WANTED] Turn Signal Switch

Yep, I have what you need. Sorry for the full inbox; I've made space now and I'll send you a PM. Beware "cheap" parts; they're very expensive unless you value your time at $0.00/hr. The trinkets Van's sells (also PG Classics, etc, etc) are the whole reason why I started down this road of real...

    [Found!] 1966 Barracuda taillight lens

You can get good reproduction lenses for cheap money outta Mexico; see here (maybe not quite 100-point judged-show quality, but they don't cost like it, either).

    [WANTED] Tail light housing

'70 Dart taillights (housings, lenses, or complete assemblies) are directly interchangeable for '71-'73 Scamp. The Dart lenses (which are available new/repro) use a different kind of optical pattern to disperse the light than the Scamp lenses (which are not available new).

    [Found!] Super six kickdown linkage

The original Super Six kickdown setups have grown scarce and costly. See this thread for kickdown options. Pedal and bracket for what kind of car/truck/van? There are many different ones. Throttle cable: many different lengths and two different kinds of firewall end (up to '74, '75-on). What...

    [WANTED] /6 Valvecover

There are three Slant-6 valve cover bolt patterns: 1. used on 1958-1959 prototype engines. Almost nonexistent even when new, they are a less-than-once-in-a-lottery-ticket sighting these days. 2. used on 1960-1980 production engines. Four different valve covers, all bolt-on interchangeable...

[WANTED] 1975 Dodge Dart Single Barrel Carburetor (225 Slant 6 motor)

You aren't likely to find that exact 1975 carb without a long wait. First couple years of Holley 1945 (1974, 1975) were problematic anyhow; later ones were markedly better. "Remanufactured" carbs are junk. Two good, fully-compatible, new carbs: this and this. While you're at it, see tune-up...

[WANTED] Looking for this carb part

The long bolt is for '60-'62 170 engines, plus '60-'61 225 engines in big cars (Plymouth/Dodge, not Valiant/Lancer). All these use one of three different air cleaners with a flat floor. The '63-'67 air cleaners have a dropped floor (bottom of air filter element at a lower plane than carb neck)...

    [Found!] Early Alternator Mounts?

While you're thinking about it, here's a tip published 25 years ago in the Slant-6 News that's still worth keeping in mind, even though you're no longer likely to find Slant-6s in wrecking yards.

    [Found!] Early Alternator Mounts?

The same cast iron lower alternator bracket was used '62 through at least '76. It will directly replace the bendy '61-only stamped steel bracket. The one in the pictures will be fine on your '61.

    [Found!] /6 170

Crank pulley: Buy new. Available new from ATP or Dayco or Dorman. Water pump pulley: very wide interchange starting in '61 and going forward into the '80s; someone'll have a good used one for you.

[WANTED] 68 225 into a 63 valiant oil pan and motor mounts

[WANTED] Hood Emblem 1962 Lancer 170

    [WANTED] 1962 lancer oil pan

Probably an aluminum 225 or an iron 170, but not an aluminum 170. There were a (very) few aluminum 170 prototypes in 1960, and a couple of those were installed in factory-owned cars leased to Chrysler Engineering employees for "real world" tests, but no aluminum 170s were made on a production...

[WANTED] hood ornament 62 lancer GT

That Lancer GT hood badge got reproduced by an individual some years ago; he made a batch of 'em and sold 'em on eBay. I haven't seen one there in at least three years; I assume he sold all out. The '61 badge is available new, 6th item down from the top here, and although its artwork is...

[WANTED] 1970 225 slant six parts wanted

Before you go shopping for parts, keep in mind: picking parts because they look interesting is usually a good way to waste money and time, because it's backwards. Much better to figure out your goals for the car — what you want it to do that it doesn't do now, and what you want it not to do that...

    [WANTED] Slant 6 Air Cleaner

More specificity needed; there were two different common non-CAP '63-'67 Slant-6 air cleaners. The "large and flat" item is about 11" diameter and has a deeper drop to the base and takes a lower-profile air cleaner stud bail on the carburetor, and the "small and tall" item is about 8¾"...
