well you could buy a fiberglass six pack hood paint it black. and have the best of both worlds, it could easily be sold with the car or for your next project. I did this with my 68 barracuda. never did put the stock hood back on.

what has anyone used as a plug or block off plate for there hole in the fender?

hi folks, i currently have a fiberglass 6-pack hood and would like to paint it a flat black or a matt finish. does anyone know the name of the color or a reference number to these? pic's of yours would really help. thanks terry

i looked for awhile and had no luck finding new gaskets so i just bought a tube of the clear silicone rtv and spread a thin layer around the bottom of each insert.it seems to work just fine. terry

maybe the cuda's with the darkened center are formula's S ? i know there grill's are painted dark as opposed to the argent. terry
