Thanks for the pictures and all the info. Apparently my lid has holes in it for something different, I'll have to see what I can come up with to either cover them or I will have to close them and reshoot the deck lid.

Ok what emblems belong on the trunk of a 72 Demon? The lid appears to have several holes where an emblem would mount and it appears they could be single letters

Turns out the holes are already there just need punched through the hood layer.

the actual brackets when used cause you to cut sections of metal out of the bottom of your trunk lid to actually mount the wing bracket, the special nuts are needed if using these brakets. I have a set of brackets and mounting nuts I will sell for 40.00 plus the ride.

Ok I have a question, does anyone have a template or the actual dimensions for painting the center blackout portion of the Demon 340 hood? I only need the center section as I will be getting a stripe kit for the hood pin stripes? I know one of the vendors carry a paint kit but it's like $105.00...

Thanks for the pics but that is made different than mine, mine has a loop at the end of the cable and a button for it to go around on the latch, but thanks for trying to help I appreciate it.

can't believe I have vinyl top chrome for a Dart/ Duster Landau Roof, and chrome for around the vinyl top of the boxed Darts 67,68, 69 etc, but I can't find the (2) end pieces I need for my Demon, must have been thrown away at one time or another cause I know I had them.:pale::angry6:
