    hey guys, i got all the fuel lines run finally, but when i turn the pump on, at first it just sounded normal, but didnt build any pressure. then fooling around checking to see if fuel was actually making it to the carb, now it sounds like it primes, then looses prime and prime and looses prime...

    Proform body on a Holley 3310..worthwhile?

    personally, id sell it and put a nice 4150 style carb on that motor. the 4160 you have is a "tame" carb, good for all around use, but IMHO, you'll never see the full potential from the new motor. its a night and day experience on how a mechanical secondary 4150 feels when you punch it compared...

    anyone got a carter bbd

    mopar performance use to have a part# for a aluminum 2bbl manifold, it was basically a new version of the original super six manifold. if you get just a manifold (cast iron or aluminum) , be prepared to find all the right linkage or fabricate your out (what i had to do because of the headers)...

    a 318bbd on a slant will work really well, you however need a 2bbl slant manifold for it to work, as well as all the throttle/kickdown linkage and possible throttle cable too.i just drilled out the jets in my slant 6 bbd till it got color on the plugs under "normal" all around driving...

    which carb would you run?

    domnator---even with a 4-speed you'll still like it. custom carbs make such a difference over an out of box deal if they are done right. i have heard great things about BIGS, a friend has been talking to them about a 1050 for his car (440 gtx) --chad
