I think I paid $200 shipped for mine...which is a shame because I'm probably going to sell it and go with something different ...oh, mine came with shifter and all brackets

I'm pleased with mine...I think I just went with some 3.5" Pioneers. I also took some of the windshield gasket rubber material and ran a bead of that around the edge so it wouldn't rattle-good stuff

It came with the radio-wired directly into the amp circuit. If you install an adapter, it cuts the AM. If I recall correctly, I bought it on eBay from Ward's Radio Repair (I think?). It isn't "year correct" for my car based on what the seller said, but I just wanted something to listen to...

Thanks Swinger, the radio has an aux input for an iPod or MP3 player. The only thing wrong with it (and the reason I took the picture) is because the little threaded ring that usually hold in the female adapter fell off somewhere in my floorboard, and I never located it. So, the lid came off...

I knocked a couple holes in the dash so the acorns would clear, but because of some other fitment inconsistencies, I opted to just leave it closed. I can get the door to open, but it requires some finagling. I figure I'll eventually make a custom console with storage space.

How much for the valiant grilles??

I have this bracket installed, just haven't had a chance to choose/install a new stereo yet. It fits great though with my Pioneers!

Same here-received it Wednesday I think, here's a couple pix of the speakers mounted in there. I'll probably put some thick foam around the edge to keep it from vibrating, and maybe a small spacer on the mounting studs.

Funny, the one that came out of my '72 Scamp had no EGR lights...just oil/brake and the fasten seat belts...
