    Wiper switch retainer removal tool

Ha, I'll go one better..most of the time you don't need any tool at all. Grab the switch from behind and twist it back and forth while you apply a bit of finger muscle on the bezel nut. I can almost always get them off that way, and sometimes even tighten them down too

    Aftermarket seats yay or nay

From an aesthetic perspective, aftermarket seats are fine, but it needs to be a total package to reduce the cringe factor. Original steering wheels, dash and gauge clusters, door panels etc, are all very angular and dated appearing when you introduce a modern looking seat to the package. Scale...

How do you guys remove speed nuts?

Those nuts behind the dash face are a pain. Slip a butter knife between the bezel and frame, and use that to apply slight outward pressure as you unscrew the nuts. That inboard one on the upper drivers side is really tough. Cluster must be out, and you have to drop the harness from its upper...

    cutting back of dash

Word of advice...by all means, add a gauge, BUT leave the idiot light! Unless you plan on studying the gauge the whole time you are driving, that red light will grab your attention faster than a dipping needle ever will. I incorporate both in all my cars

    Bezel Tool

Here's a trick... No tools necessary. Reach behind the dash, and twist the switch side to side with one hand, while you twist the bezel with the other. Works every time to loosen as well as tighten.

    Dash help

It's all designed to be serviced with the frame in place. With the column dropped, and the two corner bolts out, you can pull the frame far enough away to get at everything easily.
