Paint. My rallye rims gloss black?

It's battle of old vs new school! We all like what we like, stone me to death here but I like the different views. Means the hobby is alive! We are all still making our own perfect image! I see cars everyday that I love and hate but if the owner loves it And worked hard to create his image then...

    My new wheel/tire combo

The tire is 26" tall and I could have got a 15" wheel combo to get this also but the larger wheel for sure fills out the wheel well. I just think the larger diameter wheel looks awesome.

    My new wheel/tire combo

Yes I dropped 23lbs per side from my 17x7 wheels. These wheels are technically not street legal and are not DOT approved but I see them on allot of street driven cars. My car is not built to carve corners so should be fine.

    My new wheel/tire combo

    My new wheel/tire combo

Well it's hard to tell. I did a few other things. Went from 1-3/4" headers to 2"-2 1/8" step headers. I also installed a victor intake. Those parts are way too much for my low compression 383 but I got them in anticipation of my 470" going in soon.

What rear brakes are you running? Disc?

Here's a stupid idea: 18" diameter wheels with black lip to simulate 15"!

its all about proportions. my car has 17" wheels and tires. the fronts are 26" tall and the rears are 28" i hate the rubber band tire look. if you put a decent size tire on the rim they look good. that is my opinion.

Ok...how about *Shaved* BFG Radial T/As?

nitto 555r perhaps. I assume your looking at 14 or 15" wheel diameter tires? if so then the side wall of the tire will have more flex then any tread ever did. even if you had the BFG tire shaved or any sort of modification to make it a better tire it will still handle like a shopping cart. if...

Ok...how about *Shaved* BFG Radial T/As?

By the time you buy the BFG's and pay to have them shaved, cutting tire life in half you could have purchased a quality tire.
