Are the 70 Duster front drums or hubs the same as 72. I'm thinking they are and the change is in 73 correct?

Need brake upgrade on the Duster I bought. Slant 6 car .Since all the the BBp stuff that came with the car is junk, can I use the /6 LCA's. I heard they were the same regardless of year and engine size

Bought a 70 Duster last week . Guy had got the 73 up front disc brake hardware(used). Its a pin style caliper but the rotors I don't recognize I ran some #'s and came up with nothing. Could this be from a C body. Also look at brake pad picture. Anyone silicone Their brake pads?

Problem solved. As far as the knocking . when I pulled rotors of , I decided to retorque suspension bolts . I found some loose both sides. And for the pulsating brake , I talked with A/Jforms great source of knowledge . Through his in put I switched rotors right to left , cleaned everything...

Rotors/drums are new . They were also turned on lathe before use broke in properly. Results the same . He did this twice. Also new calipers and pads and shoes

Yes I'll disconnect it mid way again could be the line to the flex hose.

Well put the new flex hose on, still not getting fluid back.

Yes saved the gasket and will C clamp the lid to make sure it doesn't leak.

Just for laughs checked out a site that shows how to make a self bleeder. I had all the stuff even an extra master cylinder lid. Put it together in about a half an hour . pumped it up to 20 psi and held it until I took my thumb off the air hole in the lid. Nothing ventured nothing gained.

Yes I've seen those , never used one. I have a Harbor Freight that I like also uses very little fluid. I bleed the old fashioned way back to front and even gravity flow.

Not getting fluid to the rear brakes very inconsistent. I put my vac on rear right side and sucked until I got fluid then it stopped. Checked left side , no fluid. I disconnected lines at mid car put my vac on line from proportioning valve ... plenty of fluid , no air. I assume rear flex hose ...
