    That's what I was thinking. Some plastics seam to hold up well. Others are dead in a month of sun. I put upholstery vinyl on my package tray and it looked like crap in a couple months. Sprayed it and dash with SEM and they look good after a few years. For a bumper its already stretched...

    Damn! And I was looking for a low cal alternative to Mayo. :BangHead: Seriously, I am well aware of its intended uses. I've never seen it hurt paint. I do agree the solvents in the others you mentioned will eventually damage paint. Slap some butter on there if you plan to lick it off. :thumbsup:

    Never did it, but how bout Silicone spray? Works on snow plows to help it slide right off.

    air bags for towing

    I helped a buddy put a set of 'Air-Lift' bags on his GMC a couple years ago. He's got a cap with built in boxes and a ton of tools and stuff. They did the job - was bottomed without them. Seemed to be a pretty good product. No install issues, and holding up good so far.
