I have a Thermoquad that seems to be leaking between the plastic body and the top of the carb, wet and covered with fuel. It also seems to be flooding. Any guess of whats causing it ? Stuck float ? Warped body ? Tried to get a rebuild kit today with no luck. I'll have to try Napa tomorrow.

I have 2 TQ, a 73-340 TQ and a 77-440 carb. Both carbs need a rebuild, the 73 carb need a secondary throttle shaft (broken screw). Will the secondary throttle shaft from the 77-440 carb work in the 73-340 carb ?

Im looking for pictures or a diagram of the correct plumbing for the charcoal canister on a 73 340 Duster.

Anyone know the deal with these ? I know 71 was air metered 72 they went to solid metering. Any one know why ? Did the factory recall or replace the 71 carbs under warranty if something went wrong with them ?

Am I ok mounting my regulator like this. Its out of site but not touching anything other then the block were it mounted. Will the vibration be to much for it ?

anyone know the diameter of the factory fuel tank vent for a 71 Scamp ? The vent line goes from the engine bay( passanger side valve cover breather) to the tank. Its either 1/4 or 5/16. I tossed mine thinking I wasnt going to use it.

Im going to bend my own fuel lines. I have used aluminum in the past with good results. Easy to bend, low price and it held up fine. Summit also has rolls of Stainless for $30, which is only $5 more then the aluminum. Should I skip the aluminum. I hear stainless is hard to bend, flair and seal.

I put my 650 double pumper on today. I rebuilt it a year ago and just got around to trying it. The car wont run any lower then 2000rpms because the boosters a dripping pretty bad. I changes floated level and fuel pressure. Niether made a differance. Any ideas ?
