I installed the pistol grip shifter I bought from member(Grinder)back when he was living out of his car!Looks good,had to modify a little bit(drill a second hole)other than that,she,s cherry!

I have a centerforce clutch and have not removed the overspring on the clutch pedal.Is this recommended?I,ve read to put quarters or washers in it to remove when clutch is depressed.How many of you have removed with the centerforce?How,s your clutch feel?Thanks for any advise.

Went racing last nite made 2 passes on 3rd pass car got stuck in 1st gear.The clutch goes in but won,t shift.Any ideas?Istill have the car on the trailer as I haven,t unloaded it yet.Thanks for any help.

Well the bracket on the side of the lakewood bellhousing doesn,t line up when I attach the ball stud,which is why my clutch won,t disengage.So it has to be cut off,alighned and re-welded.I guess when you order a 340 steel bell. It,s only for a 340 not specificly A-body,E-body etc,etc.Back to work

well I put in centerforce dual friction clutch and Lakewood bellhousing,t.o bearing,new fork.Buttoned all up now clutch seems to be engaged.I,ve done this job a few times with no probs. with car jacked up hit brakes car wants to die.Any suggestions??I got so mad I,ve done quite a bit of work to...
