The 2A's that I have are 1 7/8 fenderwell headers/auto. Clearance is no issue. Found another '65 with a 273 and auto trans. Was thinking a 4 spd with in the frame headers and a mild build 273. Keg of worms? Thanks
My '65 Dart gasser has manual steering, so I know how is steers thru the pits and down the track. Manual steering work with my new daily driver, '65 Dart 4dr, /6, /auto?

Came across a '66 Dart that I am thinking of cloning a D Dart for road racing. Anyone have the original specs for the bell, clutch and flywheel and what's out there for modern performance?
I bought my '65 dart as as roller, so I have no reference. I'd prefer to run factory routed exhaust system with my 365 HP 273 and not modify the drivers tranny mount. Probably a 2 1/2 pipe. Seeing the route is better for me to see what's in store. Thanks
I found a link on this site several years ago, a white Valiant ran SS/K, I think, 273 4 speed. Lost the link. I believe the car ran out of MN and had Victory on the doors. Any help?

I think that the 63 was not friendly towards a V8. Found a nice 63(not a rust bucket and easy to be street worthy). I think the /6 is toast or close to it. Have a 273 on the engine stand. Will it fit? Fit with headers? Is there something with the heater core or wiper motor that's an issue?
What body parts are similar to swap, ext. and int.? I came across a 65 project car and found a 64 parts car in another location. Don't have either in hand, just want to know what would work if I pull the trigger. THX
What do I need to put front sway bar on a '65 Dart. I have done the big upper controls arms and using the F body spindles and brakes. Moving the car from strict strip to street/strip. Thanks
Not much space in the trans tunnel for the 904, so I think that a 10 1/2 clutch and shield won't work. What's the solution? Fenderwell headers and to any problems?
Just picked up 1 of 2 FG fenders for my '65 Dart. The quality was worse than horrible. Found Valiant FB fenders for 64/65 Valiant/Barracuda. Can I use these instead? Dart look will be more of a hybrid but that's OK. Also found FG doors for '65 Valiant. Can I use these too?
When I built my '65 Dart drag car, it was a tight fit for a 904. I heavily modified the trans hump to get the trans to fit easily and give me room for repairs and strapping on the trans blanket. Looking at another that has no trans. Thinking about a 4 spd. Can't see how a 10 1/2 clutch and...
Mocking up some JR fenderwell headers for my '65 Dart. For a street machine, looks like u-turns and parallel parking are not going to cut it. 350 HP 273, so factory style exhaust won't do. These block hugging headers a solution?
Looks like 1 or 2 races this season will require a diaper to pass tech. With a narrower frame I assume that the later '67+ diapers won't fit. Anyone solve this problem?
Several years ago I picked up 2 front fender patch panels for my dart at a swap meet. Need new ones for a new project and can't find them anywhere. Any info? Did repairs with sheet metal before but now, time in not on my side for this project.
Putting together a 273/4bbl, 340 spec solid cam, high compression motor for a '65 Dart. Was thinking of using the magnum factory style exhaust manifolds. Good idea? Need the magnum bolt kit or just use the LA studs/bolts?
