Got the 360 block last week .....washed it a couple time plus ran brushes thru the oil galleries...dried it and bagged it... for now. Remove .040 pistons that were on the scat rods from the 410 engine....spiro locks suck...had one that took my quite awhile to get off....put the new .030 pistons...

Head gasket removed from 410 engine ....cylinder 3 and 5 show the gasket egg shaped...cylinder 1 the fire ring was detached from gasket.....any clues? engine is flat top zero deck 410 cubic inches...with ARP studs....close chamber eddy heads...

Tailshaft on the 71 Dart took a crap at the last race. Looks like the governor came apart. It is not used by the Reverse Manual Valve body.....The Transmission was scheduled to be replaced after that weekend but I guess it decided it had enough.

Make a few video of today races....Hot as hell again 98 degrees ...DA at 5400 ft....weather is changing for next weekend Division 7 bracket finals...High temp in 80s...

71 Duster is now sublime green...with black 340 stripe kit on its way.... Guy has a couple of spots to touch up and color sand plus buff... It should be coming home in a few days...

Refreshing 360 after 10 years.... Well the upgrading of the old engine is done...coming out in a couple of weeks with a new 410 going in...new K1 4 inch crank next to OEM 3.58 crank.
