    New heads/intake/rear end

I've found that I have more cash available than I thought I did. So the budget for this year will include line items for new heads, a new intake and probably a new rear end. Here's the specs on the motor: http://www.burwoodboysracing.com/about_the_car.htm. I haven't updated that in a while...

    Which single plane intake?

It's time to ditch the dual plane (Edelbrock Performer RPM) on my 360 and go with a single plane. The question is... which one? Mopar M1? Weiand X-CELerator? Edelbrock Super Victor? Edelbrock Victor? Edelbrock Toker II? Mopar 5249614? Here's the specs on the motor...

    What to do?

Here's the deal. At the end of last season, I found a lot of coolant in my oil. I think one (or maybe both) of my heads are cracked. They're X heads that have been milled quite a bit. Either there's a crack in one of the heads or the intake gaskets failed. Or maybe the intake just doesn't...

    It's alive!

After broken starters, bad head gaskets, crappy intake gaskets, a bunch of leaks and a semi-dead battery, I was finally able to start my Duster! It was a long time coming... A few squirts of starting fluid into the carb, pushed the start button and it fired right up. Started smoking right...

Got some motor problems, I think.

First off, 2 points to whoever can find what's odd about this first picture. Next... I had some coolant in my oil at the end of last season, so I popped the heads off to have a look, hoping that it was just a blown head gasket. I've only got the passenger side off so far...

    Mopar Muscle/Gasket Science

When I get a new Mopar Muscle, I browse through it, looking at the pictures and breezing throught the articles. Then I go back and read it cover to cover. I came across the "Gasket Science" article, which interested me because I think I've got blown head gaskets on my 360. I got to the end of...

    Mopar P5007696 Cam

Does anybody have any info on the new P5007696 cam? It's a 508 lift hydraulic for a small block, I think it's replacing the older 508 cam. It's a 292/292, .508/.508 lift, but with a 114 LSA, the older one (the 233 cam) has a 108 LSA. How does it compare to the older Mopar cams, or other...

    It's alive!

WOOHOO! The new pushrods are in, adjusted properly. 3-4 threads showing under the rocker. Much better than before. The new battery is in - I finally broke down and bought one of those Optima red-top jammies. I finally found a PCV/Breather that fits properly, that's in on one side. I...

    Need some pushrod help

First off, the pushrods I have now are too long. What bad things would happen by using pushrods that are too long? Next, I picked up a Comp Cams adjustable "checking" pushrod to see what size I really need. How do I use it? There's no "cup" on the end, it's just rounded off like the other end...
