what do you guys have for oil pressure? i have a mopar high volume pump. 340. only started motor a few times. seemed as oil pressure was around 70 psi the first few times i started it. now this last time i let it run for a pretty long time and got the header tubes red hot, but my oil pressure...

tried to start her up. was already to take video and everything. but i dont get anyhting when cranking. the nut at the starter was only hand tight because im working on this thing at home and dont have all my tools here. but ill have to look everything over 2morro night before i tryand start it...

any pointers any body..putting in my 340 and 727 column shift with kickdown locar cable.....any pointers will be gladly taken....i think its gonna b e pretty easy....and i dont have a trans dipstick tube for the trans...is there enough room to put that in after the engine trans and headers are...

any body messed up pistons, blocks heads or valves with using the old style 7 degree keepers?...

when i had my heads cleaned they took the valves and springs out, and did not mark them. i take it they dont differ from intake to exhaust valve? i know new cars do. any help is appreciated. thanks again, kurt

so if you havnt read my restoration thread yet...i have a problem on my hands. i was replacing the rear main seal because the motor has been sitting for 3 years and while removing the crank found several connecting rod bearings to be junk. so, being that it took out my crankshaft it looks like...

hey, i have a 69 valiant...putting in a 340....will the air gap and 650 dp with mopar air filter clear my stock hood?

hey dudes...i got new tappets from mopar and their is no hole where the pushrod sits ontop of the tappet. the ones in the engine had them?....does anyone else know if this is just a design change or?... also, the piston tops are black...i dont know much about the different pistons out...

any of you use the short oil filters instead of the adapter?...if so do you have the mopar part number for the shortie...and if not, anyone have an adapter they wanna get rid of and can you put the adapter on after headers and engine is installed?
