Okay, I am finally updating. I took my little #'s matching 273 and put it on a nice engine dolly. Now heres what I have done. I have a 1971 340 with the big valve J heads. Mopar purple cam. Headers, eddie thunder carb (650 cfm) and RPM manny, Mopar hipo ign. I pretty much used evrything from my 273,and moved over to this new block. I still have the 904 with a shift kit andshelled my 7 1/4 rear end the 1st day I drove it with the 340. Now I have a 8 3/4 with 3.55 gears. I still kept the 2...
