Well it seems I now have 2 GT's and the first one is now the donor, or at least as much as is possible.
This one is a numbers matching V8 and in driveable condition. I hope to have it on the road end of May and then commence restoration as time and money allows.

She's back on the road...14 years after finding it NEXT TO a barn in the middle of nowhere with plywood and tires piled atop the disintegrating top...

If you ever wanted to see one that looks like it was picked up by a UFO in 1963 and dropped of again in 2006. Only thing those aliens did was re-paint and clear coat it before they returned it, which wasn’t being done back then. You might agree with me they did a nice job.

It has been fun during and after 3 years of work. The interior is original except front seat covers and carpet. Has a mild 360, 727, 8 3/4 power disc brakes. nice cruiser.

Almost all underhood wiring is hidden
Taillights are LEDs
Exhaust tips are gone....caused a funny ringing at 3K
Side panels of the grill are black (bad chrome job)
