After reading the instructions I was thinking about starting my mechanical advance with the black 18* bushing and using the light silver and medium blue springs? Is this a good place to start with my set up? Any suggestions on where to try my total?

That's a pretty good starting baseline set up. It may like the two blue springs. As long as your mechanical timing isn't bleeding in at idle, you should be OK.

Find the total number you are running now and set it there. IF you have 36 now, set initial at 18, with 18 mechanical you should have 36 total. Verify it to be certain. Then see if the car starts OK when hot. If it does, run it there.

Thanks Crackedback. Is there any certain plugs anyone would recommend? Plug gap to use?

I will update when I get everything converted. Might even take it back to the track and try for the 14s again.
