1 7/8 Header Selection

-
Our W2 Headers are professionally fabricated to our specs that
we have developed over the years. We had zero luck with the few commercial
brands that were ever available.

Actually, they are my son Jon's stuff. I would have to discuss the possible
sale with him and possible price. He does not frequent these forums (Thinks that
I am Crazy).

For a little more than the TTIs = You could have a set built for your application.
Unfortunately, the fabricators we use are all out West. Most of the better ones
have aged out.
Thanks John, I'd be curious what you have e available. Are they street headers with flanges, or race headers?

Well that sucks, ordered some 75140's from JEGS this weekend only to get an email today that they are no longer in production...

Did some more looking around today and found a post from someone on here who ordered some TA's about two years ago and they were lower than their old ones. Couldn't even load their car in a trailer and sold them for some TTI's so they are completely out for me.

Looked up the ARH's, they are $1,895.00 for 1 3/4 and 1 3/4 stepped to 1 7/8 for $2,395.00, ouch.

Good. Kinda hard getting the 4 tubes into the collectors, but otherwise fine.
Nice headers, real nice.
Do they leak much around the joints with the exhaust hooked up ? and how did you hook up the the exhaust to the race collector .
Thanks .

Don’t leak at all around the joints. Snug fit.
Did it like this

Those headers that ARH has are Stainless Steel I think, They are pricey but good Quality, I was steering towards 1.3/4 stepped to 1.7/8, and I like the advise (Free) that @GTX JOHN gave us Really appreciate that, he's very knowledgeable . I have a 400 ci Indy headed small block with SFT cam pushing 600HP on a street car and I feel that they would work great, Or even a 1.7/8 Race header from TTI, Presently it has hooker fenderwall headers that previous owner had and I would like to go with underchassis instead and cover up the holes on my Inner fenders, I like the look better with underchassis

Yep, the ARH ones are stainless.

I lucked out and a member sold his 5303 headers to me. Moving some fuel lines and installing a 90 degree oil filter adapter for clearance, still have to look at the drivers side.

From what I saw from the passengers side, these don’t hang much lower than my Doug’s and no fender well holes. Excited to see how the Dart runs now that it will be able to breath.

How did these headers fit?
This picture if you blow it up you can see the headers on the passenger side.
They are a bit lower than like Doug’s were that I had previously, but they are high enough to be more than acceptable for street driving. Have never scraped them up driving around or loading on an open trailer

I have run both TTI and Tubular Automotive 1 7/8 headers . Both fit well . Call and ask them about fit with power steering . Or convert to manual steering.
