1 pc oil pan gasket?

does the 1 piece magnum oil pan gasket work on la oil pans?
I have developed a major oil leak and fix it once, i am not positive where it started but i can see a drip on the seal between oil pan and trans. my trans is covered in motor oil as well as exhaust cross over. oil filter is dry. but the side of the block near filter is oily.
It is a rebuilt motor with original acc. and tins. I think the tins are all warped badly and leaking, as i can see small leaks everywhere on the motor.

does anybody know of a gasket kit with high quallity gaskets?

also can i remove the oil pan without lifting the motor? its a 1986 b150 van with 318

I was able to remove the pan on my 4x4 Ramcharger without lifting the motor

the LA gasket must be used with a LA pan...Magnum gasket must be used with a Magnum pan....otherwise they leak...

I used a factory magnum gasket on my la 360 Milodon pan. All I did was weld two small pieces of 3/16" in the corners where the radius meets the rail on the pan. It works great.

Could be your rear main seal is leaking.

I realize that, I am just trying to get the parts i need together before i tear into it.
This is my daily driver so it has to happen over a weekend or I am screwed.
